NSDAR offers the following scholarships.

DAR SCHOLARSHIPS
AVAILABLE
(2008 - 2009)
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:

Lillian and Arthur Dunn - Seniors
whose MOTHERS are current DAR members. $1,000. - Renewable.
Due Feb. 15th.

American History - Seniors who
will major in the study of American History. $2,000. - Renewable.
Due Feb. 1st at the State Level.
COLLEGE STUDENTS:
-
Occupational Therapy - Students
enrolled in Occupational (including Art & Music) Therapy or Physical
Therapy. $500. - Due Feb. 15th or Aug. 15th.

Enid Hall Griswold Memorial - Juniors
or Seniors majoring in Political Science, History, Government or Economics.
$1,000. - Due Feb. 15th.
GRADUATE STUDENTS:
-
J.E. Caldwell Centennial - Graduate
study of Historic Preservation. $2,000. - Due Feb. 15th.
MEDICAL STUDENTS:
-
Madeline Pickett (Halbert) Cogswell
- Students currently enrolled in Nursing Program and have a DAR relative.
$500. - Due Feb. 15th or Aug. 15th.

Caroline E. Holt - Students currently
enrolled in Nursing Program. $500. - Due Feb. 15th or Aug. 15th.

Alice W. Rooke - Students enrolled
in Medical School (not pre-med). $5,000. Renewable. Due April
15th.

Irene and Daisy MacGregor - Students
enrolled in Psychiatric Nursing (graduate level) or Medical School (not
pre-med). $5,000. Renewable. Due April 15th.

Scholarships Available
Three $1,000.000 scholarships are awarded annually to a
Lenawee County female graduating senior.
